| FormRouter Lowers Prices
for Adobe LiveCycle Reader
Extensions Service
CARY, NC — December 6, 2005 — FormRouter, Inc.
announced today new pricing options for organizations deploying
PDF forms that require extended rights such as local save
and digital signatures. FormRouter is currently the only PDF
Application Service Provider (ASP) licensed by Adobe to activate
PDF usage rights for customers within North America. According
to FormRouter CEO Chris M. Pieper, “We are pleased to
have Adobe’s support in launching new options for non-profits,
educational, public sector and small to medium sized
organizations to deploy intelligent Reader Extended documents.
At $125 per page, just about anyone can realize the full potential
of PDF forms and the free Adobe Reader.”
“It’s great to see FormRouter make the Adobe
LiveCycle Reader Extension’s Service accessible for
the little guy” said Carl Young, President of DigiPub
Solutions Corp., Adobe® Certified Expert in Acrobat and
Certified Technical Trainer. “At $125 per page, it’s
possible to add local save to even the simple forms. I hear
this request all the time from my customers.”
Adobe® LiveCycle™ Reader® Extensions allows
organizations to unlock advanced formsprocessing features
within the free and ubiquitous Acrobat® Reader software
at no extra cost to end users. When a rights-enabled PDF document
is opened, users can access advanced features such as digital
signatures, 2D bar-coding, filling and submitting data electronically,
and offline save. Once the document is submitted or closed,
these special rights are disabled in Reader until the user
receives another rights-enabled PDF file.
Leonard Rosenthol, CTO of PDF Sages commented, “FormRouter's
new pricing for the Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions Service
will finally bring the promise of rich PDF-based forms to
millions. Organizations of any size can now reasonably afford
to provide their customers with SAVABLE forms or take advantage
of improved functionality such as digital signatures."
FormRouter’s subscription services allows individuals
with no technical experience to deploy PDF documents as secure,
Internet hosted forms, in minutes, with no programming and
no hardware installation. "Through our partnership with
FormRouter, we see more small and medium-sized businesses
able to take advantage of the powerful forms capabilities
that Adobe
PDF solutions offer," said Brian Wick, group product
manager at Adobe.
