Excel Form data capture
Once you have a FormRouter Account, it is
an easy process to set up your Excel forms to collect data
securely. You can also send out e-mail alerts.
Step 1:
Build an Excel form and add a FormRouter Submit Button
Lay out fields in an Excel Spreadsheet using
the Forms Toolbar. Name the Excel cells that you would like
to submit data. Next, inject the Excel spreadsheet with the
FormRouter Submit Button. This button will make the form submit
securely online. Now the form is ready to submit.
Step 2:
Build an e-mail alert (optional)
Included in every FormRouter account is
an alert builder. One of the alerts offered is an E-mail alert.
Step 3:
Link the form to Web sites and E-mails (optional)
After a form is built in your FormRouter
account a link is automatically generated. Links to forms
can be cut and pasted into E-mails or Websites.
Alternatively, you can distribute the Excel Form by E-mail
or CD-ROM.
Step 4:
Capture responses to a database automatically
FormRouter’s client tool can automatically
write online form responses securely into database like Microsoft®
Access or Microsoft® Outlook.
