Collecting PDF compliance forms into a database
and sending notification is easy to set up with a FormRouter
account. In addition, file attachments and entire forms can
be captured into your database for archiving and monitoring.
Step 1: Build a PDF form
Once a document is converted into a PDF, it then can be
edited in Adobe® Acrobat Professional. FormRouter
provides live Internet based instruction and written documentation
with every account
to get you up to speed.
Step
2: Build a PDF Form Template
The PDF Form Template is an ordinary PDF
form. Text posted from your
online form will merge into the fields in your PDF Template
File.
Data is merged where field names match. Example: if you have
a field in your online form called “FirstName”
and a field in your PDF Template called “FirstName”
then the data will be merged.
Step 3:
Build a PDF E-mail Alert
Included in every FormRouter account is
an alert builder. One of the alerts offered is a "PDF
E-mail Alert".
The PDF E-mail Alert provides an interface to upload a PDF
Form Template. It also allows you to configure PDF attachment
options.
Step 4:
Link the form to Websites, E-mails
After a form is built in your FormRouter
account a link is automatically generated. Links to forms
can be cut and pasted into E-mails or Websites.
Step 5:
Capture responses to a database automatically
FormRouter’s client tool can automatically
write online form responses securely into a database.
Step 6: Easy
review and monitoring
Open forms and file attachments from your
database for review and reporting. FormRouter offers a simple
tool to extract forms and file attachments from from Microsoft® Access® databases.
